As the artists of the 50s we shall be experimental, find the newness in today’s society. As the Beat Generation we shall find interest in our spirituality, feed our minds, and reach our over-minds. We shall break out from our bodies, from the deep dark ends of our minds. The deep dark ends that shadow our thoughts, making us incapable to break through. But NO! We shall break through! We shall experiment! We shall take all that is known, what is of the past and make it new again. Give new meaning to ancient traditions, mathematics, physics, MUSIC, and explore, CREATE! Collect and share the new, embody the flesh of the unknown.
OUTREACH your mind, your childhood is not you. Your difficulties don’t define you, no title defines you. You are the physicality of your mind. You are the genuine mind, enclosed in an elementary source, that gives you access to the world. Access to movement, access to CREATE, CREATE, CREATE!
WE SHALL FIND ENERGY THAT EXCITES US! Energy that releases our minds from our darkness, that strips off the veil of depression. Energy in sound, energy in music, energy in the everyday life. Visualise music, use the freeing movements of our minds, all the way down to our limbs and trace the beauty of music on the canvas. Blend, sounds, images and senses. CREATE THE SIXTH SENSE! Invite synesthesia to your body and mind, allow your senses to blend. See colours fuse with musical tones, and paintings with music. Hear colours! Taste colours! Embody sounds to your images.
JAZZ, JAZZ, JAZZ, color music, JAZZ, color music. Same thing different word. The accompaniment of JAZZ is hand in hand with the canvas. The canvas is hand in hand with JAZZ. Think of JAZZ as the ultimate combination, of hand and brushstroke. Each paint stroke, is the musical note, each note is on the tableau, transcending JAZZ to an image. Kind of like body and mind, where JAZZ is the mind, and the canvas is the body.
